About Shireland Learning Limited:
SLL is a vital component of the Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, supporting approximately 70 schools both within and outside the Trust. We prioritise the reinvestment of all profits generated directly back into the academies within our Trust, benefiting the students we serve. Additionally, SLL provides services to academies in the Trust at significantly reduced rates compared to commercial alternatives.
As a Director, you will oversee various back-office services provided by SLL to academies in the Trust, including human resources, finance, e-learning and gateways, as well as the Literacy for Life and Excite, Explore, Excel Learning curriculums. Our collaborative partnership with academies, teaching schools and research schools enables us to provide successful school improvement services throughout the West Midlands and beyond.

Responsibilities:
- Attend three Board of Directors meetings per year.
- Lead and guide the organisation’s operations to deliver exceptional services.

- Oversee financial management and ensure sustainable growth.
- Develop and nurture strong partnerships within the education sector.
Skills and experience:
We are actively seeking a director who demonstrates a strong commitment to education and possesses expertise in finance, HR, and operational management. While these areas are highly valued, we also encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences in education. Your passion for education and desire to contribute to the success of our Trust are equally important to us.
