Thorns Collegiate Academy, in Brierley Hill, hosted students from six schools across the Black Country yesterday at an event promoting the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Students met up with children from Sri Lanka over video link to learn about each others sports, arts and culture as well as performing a specially prepared dance routine.
The students were also lucky enough to take part in sports activities with Paralympic athletes.
The event was organised by the British Council and is part of a series of connections being built between the UK and the rest of the Commonwealth in the lead up to the Games.
