Rated good with outstanding features by Ofsted in 2023, First Steps Nursery and Pre-School has been providing high-quality childcare for the local community and beyond since 2004. Through its Excite, Explore, Express curriculum, First Steps offers children a range of rich and meaningful first-hand experiences which equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to explore and the world around them.
The Nursery is open Monday – Friday, from 7.30am – 5.45pm for 51 weeks of the year. They cater for up to 40 children per day aged between 6 weeks and 5 years.
With a highly-qualified staff team and a staff hierarchy that supports on-going staff development, First Steps Nursery ensures that every child has access to a setting that will help them to learn independently and take part in a variety of learning opportunities. With an experienced Management Team who have many years of working in early years settings, their aim is to offer the local community a nursery they can trust and depend on.
