Situated in Oldbury, Lightwoods Primary Academy joined the Trust in 2021 and is currently awaiting an Ofsted inspection as a newly established Academy.
The school operates across two sites, Castle Road East and Wolverhampton Road, and has a private pre-school provision for 3-4 year olds called Tinywoods.
In 2022, the two-form entry primary exceeded both Sandwell and national figures in every indicator for reading, writing and mathematics in EYFS and Key Stage 1. At Key Stage 2, 48% of pupils achieved greater depth in reading and 42% in mathematics, positioning Lightwoods Primary Academy as joint 4th out of 87 schools in Sandwell for performance at the greater depth standard.
