Since 2007 Shireland Learning Limited (SLL) has been a school based, education focussed company, as part of the Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust. Its mission statement is:
Leading change, promoting partnership; Sustaining growth, improving services.
SLL supports around 70 schools, both within and outside the Trust. This work is important as the company puts all of the profit that it generates directly back into the Academies in the Trust for the benefit of the students that it serves. In addition, SLL provides services to Academies in the Trust at a vastly reduced rate compared to commercial services.
Within the Trust, SLL provides back-office services to all Academies in the areas of:
- Human Resources
- E-Learning and Gateways
- The Literacy for Life and Excite, Explore, Excel Learning curriculums
