Trust hosts successful Primary Teacher Recruitment Event

Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust hosted a successful primary teacher recruitment event on Thursday 2nd February, featuring their schools in the Black Country:  Shireland Technology Primary, Holyhead Primary Academy, Tameside Primary Academy, Lightwoods Primary Academy and Wallbrook Primary Academy.

The event attracted a large number of talented and passionate educators who were eager to make a positive impact on education. This comes after the success of the Trust’s secondary teacher recruitment event in January.

Attendees were treated to an inspiring presentation from Sir Mark Grundy, CEO of Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, who shared insights about the Trust, its story and the various teaching and support opportunities available. They also had the opportunity to meet with Academy Principals and their senior teams and ask any questions they had about positions, the Trust and its Academies.

During his address, Sir Mark emphasised the Trust’s commitment to finding exceptional teachers to shape the future of education for our future generations: “We were thrilled to see yet another strong set of individuals who possess the drive and talent to provide high-quality education for our pupils.

“Finding the best teachers to help our young people succeed is what drives us forward as a multi-academy Trust. The Trust would like to extend a special thank you to all who attended and we look forward to welcoming new staff to the team in the future.”

Job postings will be advertised in the coming weeks. Follow our Trust Twitter account to receive notifications as soon as they are live including exciting news, events and updates!
